In May 2021, Anker Innovations, a specialist in smart charging and consumer products, launched its latest offerings at its first-ever event in China. Held in Shenzhen and themed ‘Fully Charged for Life’, the launch saw the brand unveil new earphones and a charger while sharing its history and future plans with a wide online and offline audience.
As the event’s official partner, Pico provided a turnkey solution that encompassed virtually every aspect of its planning, execution and management.
Pico’s turnkey solution approach enabled its team to integrate everything from creative planning, live broadcast planning and execution, video shooting and production, and design and build into a single efficient effort. This also included details such as pre-event online promotion, creating attendance reminder and voucher systems, media management, industry guest invitations, and guest hospitality.
Inside the venue, guests flowed through a series of display zones organized according to product characteristics and brand requirements. Adding to their diversity were dedicated areas for Anker Innovations’ ‘Doraemon’ and ‘One Piece’ comic collaborations, its Soundcore sub-brand, and future tech. Woven in among the zones were brand history walls, a main stage and a convenient coffee break area.
Online audiences meanwhile could engage in the event via livestreams on popular platforms such as Weibo, JD, Taobao, Douyin, iQiyi and Youku. Rather than just watching, audience members could interact: by giving the livestream a ‘Like’ and forwarding official posts, they would be entered in a lucky draw.
Pico was responsible for designing and producing opening and transition videos for the livestream. After the launch, these were edited into the full event video and uploaded to a variety of media platforms, maximising audience reach and media coverage.
