GAC Motor made New Year’s Day a special one for hundreds of joggers invited to discover the EMPOW55, a sporty saloon designed especially for young drivers. Themed ‘run together, run further, run with style’, the centrepiece of the event was a five-kilometre jog at Baiyun Mountain in Guangzhou.
For this important promotional event, the client had engaged Pico to deliver a comprehensive suite of services that extended from event planning, promotion and execution, to designing the run’s various immersive games.
On the day, participants were organized into five teams, each led by a KOL who shared tips on exercise, diet and fashion. The games proved to be another memorable aspect of the event. Designed to test runners’ coordination and reflexes, one had staff members use props to point one way, with the runners instructed to look in the opposite direction. Other games including a ring toss and a ‘toss sandbags into a hole’ activity added more amusement to the proceedings.
