Results announcement for ‘Changsha City Super Brain 1.0’
In December, Pico helped Tencent’s WeCity brand announce the results of its first project, ‘Changsha City Super Brain 1.0’. The ‘Brain’ is a sophisticated data platform which provided comprehensive digital support to Changsha’s ‘smart city’ developments. The programme itself was in integrated format, consisting of an offline conference that was livestreamed to online viewers. An awe-inspiring highlight of the physical part of the event was a demonstration of ‘laser etching’, with a laser precisely ‘burning’ the title of the introductory video onscreen before the assembled audience. Pico was appointed to provide a full range of services to the event, including event management, design and build, and execution and hospitality.

World Madam is an integrated service platform that specifically appeals to the beauty of married women. Created by Madam Annie, it aims to improve women’s global status by linking together married women from the fields such as science, technology, economics and culture, magnifying their influence. The platform also raises awareness of health, beauty and ‘love’.

The 20th GS1 Hong Kong Summit
‘Scaling Digital Transformation • Cultivating Digital Assets’ was the theme for the 20th edition of the GS1 Hong Kong Summit. Held in June 2021 and co-located with the GOVirtual Business Expo for the first time, the event focused on the integration of technologies and strategies that drive digital transformation and smarter business.
Another ‘first’ for the Summit’s 20th edition was its live broadcast. In all, more than 1,300 delegates from cross-sector trades – including several from Greater Bay Area cities – joined the event in person and online to discuss topics ranging from new retail and digital trade finance to vaccine supply chain traceability, global supply chain agility and resilience.
