Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is a global event for tourism professionals to explore and create inbound and outbound travel business opportunities. Held in hybrid format for the first time in 2021, the event’s in-person segment took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 16-19 May, while the virtual component ran from 24-26 May.
One of the event’s most eye-catching landmarks was Dubai Pavilion of Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM). A showcase of Dubai art, culture, heritage and attractions as well as more than 70 exhibiting partners, the three-storey 1,384 sq. m. structure was designed and built by Pico. Previously at ATM 2018, a Pico design for DTCM won the ‘Best Stand for Doing Business Award’.
The team’s work for the DTCM at ATM 2021 extended further to the development of a wireless interactive app for the presentation delivered by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and a convenient contactless app visitors could use to schedule meetings. The team also helped promote DTCM’s message that Dubai is all set to welcome the world to Expo Dubai in October 2021.
